Phase Four appears to be taking the older, more tenured members of the Avengers and bringing in a new iteration for each of them. The likes of Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Jennifer Walters, Jane Foster, and Riri Williams could well be the future of the franchise, but that is not all.

When Sam Wilson stepped up to take the Captain America mantle, he left a Falcon shaped hole in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Luckily, even before Sam deservedly followed in the footsteps of Steve Rogers, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier set up his high-flying replacement.

Joaquín Torres acted as a wingman (no pun intended) to Sam throughout the MCU's second Disney+ series, and though fans of the comics already knew that the character had taken up the Falcon mantle in the source material before, Marvel Studios made the point as clear as possible by letting him keep Sam's old Stark tech wings.

Actor Danny Ramirez is reportedly incredibly well thought of at Marvel and Disney, and his rise to the top of the industry right now seems inevitable. While Steve Rogers had his airborne sidekick from his second movie, Sam could in theory have his from his first.
