10 MCU Concept Art Designs Better Than What We Got
5. Zemo In Full Costume
Daniel Bruhl’s Zemo had the character's strategic genius nailed when he rocked up in Captain America: Civil War, turning Cap and Iron Man against once another by digging skeletons out of Bucky's closet, but he looked nothing like his comic counterpart.
That could have been quite different had this piece of concept art depicting him in his trademark purple mask inspired his appearance in the movie, but the filmmakers chose to make him a more grounded character.
The one thing people remember about Civil War is Marvel's finest slugging it out on screen, particularly the airport set piece. The villain who orchestrated it all was largely forgotten after the credits had rolled.
That might not be the case to quite the same extent had Zemo been more supervillain-like, rocking his traditional constume to boost his screen presence.
