Only signed up for one HP film, Wanamaker revealed in an episode of The Paul O'Grady Show that she was saddened at not being asked to reprise her role. She said she would have loved to return for the last two films, if only to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Hooch herself remained a supporting character throughout the books and was still teaching at the school in 2017 when Albus Potter struggled to make his broom rise - this would have made her over 116... so nowhere near Wanamaker's actual age.

Wanamaker's fiery red hair make her the perfect choice to play one of the show's Red Priestesses - so far we have only met Carice van Houten's Melisandre and Ania Bukstein's Red Priestess Kinvara, but we know there are more of the burning beauties out there.
