10 More Harry Potter Stars We Would Love To Join Game Of Thrones

'Loony' Luna Lovegood was always an underused part of the Harry Potter series, and actress Evanna Lynch hasn't done much acting since. A Potter super-fan, Lynch dated her co-star Robbie Jarvis, designed several accessories for the films, and is even a board member of the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA).

Somewhat obsessed with the books, Lynch has a pen-pal relationship with J.K Rowling, leading many to accuse her casting as favouritism. It's not true. Beating over 15,000 other girls, Lynch impressed with her screen-test alongside lead actor Daniel Radcliffe, and was cast aged 14.

Wesley Morris of the Boston Globe said that Lynch's performance: "combats the movie's occasional sluggishness with a hilarious sluggishness of her own." Rowling refers to The Big Seven, seven main characters of the series, and says that Luna Lovegood was one of them. Rowling also states that Lynch's performance was the only one which dictated how her character would be written in subsequent books.

With lots of the show being film in Ireland, it seems right that the Irish-born actress join the ranks. It would definitely be great to see Lynch popping on another 'loony' performance for Game of Thrones, channeling 'Maggy the frog' and her creepy prophecy of Cersei's fall.
