10 More Horror Movie Sequels That Were Just Too Cruel
2. Terrifier 2
Considering that the first Terrifier is an unrelentingly cruel and nasty movie, nobody should've really expected any different from its ambitious follow-up.
Having said that, Damien Leone well and truly took the savagery to a whole other level, as best evidenced by the nauseatingly prolonged demise of protagonist Sienna's (Lauren LaVera) best friend Allie (Casey Hartnett).
We'll spare the details here, but if you've seen the movie you'll surely remember the painstaking manner in which Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) dismantles Allie's body before finally putting her out of her misery.
And because that's not enough, in Terrifier 2's mid-credits scene the sole survivor of the first film, the severely disfigured Victoria Heyes (Samantha Scaffidi), is revealed to now be institutionalised.
Furthermore, as a result of being possessed, she gives birth to Art's head, effectively allowing him to be reborn and continues his reign of terror in Terrifier 3, with Victoria as his demonically possessed accomplice.
