10 More Horror Movie Villains Who Encountered Something Worse

Five Nights at Freddy's' not-so-shocking third act twist is that career counselor Steve Raglan (Matthew Lillard) is actually secretly the movie's primary villain, William Afton.

Afton is a serial killer who murdered a group of children and hid their bodies in the animatronics that populate Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, leaving their souls under his control.

However, at the end of the movie protagonist Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and his sister Abby (Piper Rubio) are able to remind the possessed animatronics of how they came to be this way, in turn freeing them of Afton's influence altogether.

And so, at this point the assembled animatronics turn on Afton, with Mr. Cupcake biting a chunk out of his suit, causing its spring-lock mechanism to clamp tight, mortally injuring him.

To be fair though, Afton clearly knew he was dabbling in some heinous stuff here, so this is basically the dictionary definition of "eff around and find out."
