7. Dwayne Johnson Couldn't Work With Vin Diesel - Fast and the Furious 6-9
Even though The Fast and the Furious is a beloved IP that's banked billions, the testosterone-oozing brand has spawned a surprising amount of bad blood between the cast members. However, most of the tension comes from Dwayne Johnson, who debuted as Hobbs in Fast Five.
Although The Rock's inclusion is partially responsible for reigniting the Fast Saga, his feuds with his fellow actors are the stuff of legends. He and Jason Statham have a contract stipulating they can't lose fights, despite the fact their characters face off against each other. Tyrese Gibson made no secret he had a major beef with Johnson.
However, Johnson's biggest problem while working on the Fast saga was its lead star, Vin Diesel. The WWE wrestler grew tired of Diesel's antics while filming the sixth instalment, inciting them to use body-doubles to complete their scenes together (with hilarious results). For The Fate of the Furious, the filmmakers relied on clever editing since the two hotheads refused to shoot a single scene with one another.
By the time F9 was revving up, Johnson clearly had enough of Diesel and opted for the Fast spin-off instead.
In a way, it's incredible how successful the franchise has been, considering the filmmakers moved mountains to keep the peace between its stars.
