10 Most Dangerous Bounty Hunters In Star Wars
6. Asajj Ventress
Few characters had the incredible story arc of Asajj Ventress.
Originally appearing in Genndy Tartakovsky's now non-canon animated series Clone Wars, Ventress became a large part of the 2008 Clone Wars reboot. And it was through The Clone Wars that fans learned more about the life of Count Dooku's assassin and would be protégé.
Ventress was born a Nightsister, a Force sensitive witch on the planet Dathomir. She was given away to make peace with a crime lord, eventually ending up under the tutelage of Jedi Knight Ky Narec. When he was killed, she became the secret apprentice of Count Dooku. That also fell apart and she returned to the Nightsisters, only for Dooku to have them killed all killed, with General Grievous leading the assault.
She was finally able to build a life for herself as a bounty hunter, eventually becoming feared and respected in the role. Maintaining a code of honor, Asajj died sacrificing herself to save Jedi Quinlan Vos from Count Dooku. She was laid to rest on Dathomir by Vos and one of her oldest frenemies, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
