Ellison is a billionaire, and like all rationally-minded people who have so much money she doesn't buy a yacht or a small south american country, or invest in oil or manufacturing- no, she invests in brave films like The Master, Killing Them Softly and Lawless, giving auteurs with a vision some much-needed support. It's not all about indie cred, though- she owns the right sot The Terminator franchise, so when they get their act together and released a fifth film, expect her name to be banded about like the next Harvey Weinstein. I wouldn't be surprised if she brings back a healthy bounty come awards season- she's clearly very savvy in her investments, based on what The Master's hauling in at the box office. She's off to a good start, and soon Ellison will be
the powerhouse uber-producer.
