10 Most Paused Moments In DCEU History
6. A Truly Godly Battle - Zack Snyder's Justice League
Sticking with Zack Snyder DC showings, the director's long-awaited "Snyder Cut" brought with it one of the most staggering super-wars ever to be thrown onto a screen.
With Zack Snyder's Justice League happily heading down the Darkseid route during the recalling of the battle between the Old Gods and the big bad of the DCEU, instead of the 2017 outing's Steppenwolf Parademon war, his extended battle sequence between the two warring sides thousands of years ago brought with it a boatload of staggering visuals that simply cried out for a pause and a rewind.
More detailed shots of David Thewlis' returning Ares kicking all kinds of ass, Zeus and Artemis being given much more of the spotlight, Amazons once again reminding the world why they're not to be trifled with, a closer look at Green Lantern Yalan Gur, and the overall brutality of the skirmish in general being dialled up a few notches, it's no surprise this scene ranks as one of the most unashamedly stopped and replayed in all of DCEU history.
Who wouldn't want to relive the epic visual of Zeus and Ares teaming up to take down Darkseid again and again?
