10 Most Satisfying Horror Movie Villain Deaths

8. Sadie - The Invitation

Jesus Christ, it was actually almost impossible to pick just one death from the absolute creepfest that was The Invitation that was the most satisfying. Do you go with David? The creepy as all hell ringleader of the most uncomfortable dinner party of all time and would be mass murderer? Well, sure you could do, those are some solid credentials. Or how about Pruitt? The hulking, soft-spoken giant...who killed his wife in a fit of rage and surely killed tons of other people - come on guys, he definitely did.

Both pretty good candidates sure, but they got beaten to the punch by and inch or so by Sadie. Oh, Sadie...you are horrifying.

Let us ask you a question: when has a giggling, wide-eyed hippy girl that your pals met at some sort of ayahuasca retreat and whom they subsequently invited to live with them ever been a sane and totally non-violent person? In our experience only one out of the fifteen times that's happened to us.

Out of everyone in The Invitation, Sadie was undoubtedly the most unsettling. Her violent, explosive outburst near the end of the film was completely expected, yet still made us jump out of our skin - rather than crawl out of it, like the rest of her behaviour. Plus...she was super annoying, man.

Johnny sat by the fire, idly swirling his brandy, flicking through the pages of War and Peace, wondering whether it was pretentious to write his bio in the third person.
