Spider-Man: No Way Home will forever be one of the most iconic comic book movies, thanks to achieving the seemingly impossible. It brought together Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s versions of Peter Parker, but these weren’t the only characters that made the multiversal jump into the MCU.

Joining the two Peters Parker were Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius, the two villains that stole the show, Lizard and Sandman, who were disappointing to say the least, and Electro, who fell somewhere in the middle. With no real talking point as the best or worst of the five, Max Dillon almost got forgotten about.

However, in terms of improvement from his previous appearance, Electro is unrivalled. The weird nerd who held a vendetta against Spider-Man for not remembering who he was had his blue aesthetic changed for the more comic accurate and vastly superior yellow, and was given an upgrade in both power and personality.

Being part of such a big movie, Jamie Foxx’s character almost got lost in the middle of the pack, and while he wasn’t perfect, he was certainly a much stronger antagonist than the version that teamed up with Harry Osborn seven years prior.
