10 Most Useless MCU Villains So Far

There are many villains throughout the MCU whose motivations are relatable and understandable. They may not go about things the right way, but you can at least understand the point of view of the likes of Adrian Toomes, Erik Killmonger, and Thanos.

Karli Morgenthau was one such antagonist. After half the world’s population returned from the Blip, Karli felt that the government, in particular the GRC, cared more about those that had returned rather than the poor souls who had to live through such a dark time. They were just forgotten about.

However, her motivation and her character in general was let down by her overall actions throughout the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. She was a super soldier, and had a team of similarly powered henchmen around her, but did absolutely nothing with such raw power. Instead, she devolved into terrorist attacks that rendered her super strength pointless.

In fairness, the worldwide pandemic led to wholesale changes in the narrative of the series, as much of it reportedly revolved around the outbreak of a virus, but even so, Karli did nothing to help her own cause. In fact, the man she was fighting all series did more for her with one speech than she did with her bombs and fear-mongering.
