10 Movie Sequels Fans Still Demand

4. The Incredible Hulk 2

It's not in Marvel's nature to make standalone movies. Though all their flicks are connected to the wider MCU, so far it's only been The Incredible Hulk which hasn't either had a numbered sequel hit theatres or a sequel planned for the future.

Sure, Bruce Banner (minus Edward Norton, anyway) continues to be a staple character in this universe, but no matter how great his guest turns in the Avengers movies and Thor: Ragnarok have been, it's still a shame that The Green Guy has never been given another attempt at a solo outing. The 2008 film was a misfire, but it was made right at the beginning of the MCU, and Marvel have been able to make far trickier characters work since.

Fans will still get to see Bruce's arc play out across a bunch of other Marvel movies, but it stings a little that Hulk has to be in the shadow of other characters, especially considering just how great Mark Ruffalo is in the role.
