10 Movies Kickstarted By Utter STUPIDITY

Mid-way through Godzilla: King of the Monsters, we learn that Dr. Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) is a secret villain, having been covertly working with the very eco-terrorists who "kidnapped" her.

Russell ultimately reveals that her plan all along has been to re-awaken the Titans, amid the belief that their radiation can be used to replenish the damage to Earth's ecosystem caused by humanity.

She also intends to use a device called the Orca to control the Titans and allow humans to co-exist with them. 

But even ignoring the utter lunacy of this entire idea, Russell's big mistake lies in awakening the biggest, baddest Titan of them all first - Monster Zero aka King Ghidorah, who doesn't have much interest in cohabiting with humanity on Earth and can't be easily controlled by the Orca.

Gee, who could've possibly seen this coming?

For a supposedly super-smart scientist, Dr. Emma Russell was a Hall of Famer idiot in this movie, and her "heroic" choice to sacrifice herself to ensure Ghidorah's destruction at the end is basically the bare minimum she could've done to redeem herself.
