10 Movies Starring Supernatural Actors

You’d be hard pressed to spot Julian Richings, Death himself to Supernatural fans, in this 2003 movie about inbred hillbilly cannibals attacking a group of sexy tourists who have become turned around in the woods. He is in there though, under several layers of latex and foam.

Julian plays Three-Finger, the most recognisable and recurring villain of this unlikely franchise. He only played him in the first movie but his performance was good enough to cement the character firmly in the minds of viewers. From his chilling cackle to his nimble and unsettling movements, Julian took what could easily have been a bland and generic villain in the hands of a lesser performer and made him the standout of the movie, guaranteeing the characters appearance in all future movies in the series (Three-Finger is the only character to appear in all six Wrong Turn movies).

The first movie is easily the best in the franchise and certainly the one to watch if you’re going to delve into this series. With performances from Eliza Dushku, Desmond Harrington and Emmanuelle Chriqui there’s some star power behind this tale and the film successfully builds tension and suspense which pays off successfully. A good choice for viewing when you’re in the mood for something scary.
