10 Movies That Ignored Shockingly Simple Solutions

1. Back To The Future - 2015 Marty Already Knows Time Travel Exists So Why Not Talk To Him?

Limitless Bradley Cooper
Universal

Whilst a large portion of the blame for messing with future events in this film falls usually on the shoulders of Marty McFly, Doc Brown's decision to involve him in the events of his future life in the first place is highly questionable.

Reason being, future Marty would already know Doc and understand time travel from his previous experiences, and so would be perfectly placed to do something about the events that would affect his children's lives in the future.

There would be no dystopia that is created as a result of the younger Marty accidentally alerting an older Biff to the possibility of time travel and manipulating the past for his own gain. There probably wouldn't even be a need to have the third instalment in the franchise or a need to try resolving all of the paradoxes created by the second film either.

Instead, Doc tries a mad-cap plan involving switching out Marty's future son with the younger Marty who conveniently looks identical to his future offspring, and needlessly involving the young Marty at the risk of changing the future.

Questionable decision making there at its best.
