Before he proved his worth with fine turns in the entertaining 21 Jump Street movies, Channing Tatum was starring in forgetful teen comedies such as She’s the Man.

As previously mentioned, there was an apparent need for these types of teen movies for the best part of a decade. She’s the Man is a modern take on the Shakespeare comedy, Twelfth Night. Replacing the original premise of a shipwreck, for a much simpler high school setting. This time round, the main protagonist chooses to dress as a boy in order to play soccer. It’s not exactly a thrilling change to the plot.

Amanda Bynes takes the lead role in this forgetful teen comedy, that as you would imagine, doesn’t hit the heights of its source.
