Love them or loathe them, there's no denying that spoof movies enjoyed a decade-long run of unlikely popularity from 2000 onwards. Specifically, those feature-long ribs designed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, with the duo's writing ability in the parody genre helping kick-start the Scary Movie franchise. This success also opened the door to a number of other financially successful (if critically crucified) spoof entries of their own.

Yet, while many will be aware of the likes of Meet the Spartans, and the Date and Epic Movies ultimately going down a treat with audiences, the last real hit from the two, Vampires Suck, is often overlooked despite bringing in a similarly ridiculous amount of money.

This particular 2010 spoof took aim at the Twilight Saga, with everything from digs at Kristen Stewart's divisive performance as Bella Swan, to a pack of werewolves bursting out into a 'Raining Men' dance routine popping up throughout. However, the film's jaw-dropping $81.4 million haul at the box office, on a budget of just $20 million, still couldn't stop Friedberg and Seltzer's parody party finally coming to an end. Post-Vampires Suck, the pair's parodies have managed to bring in just under $6 million at the box office. Yikes.
