1. The Avengers Eat Shawarma (Avengers: Assemble)
Following the thrilling climax of the Avengers movie, in which Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) has saved the world by risking his life diverting a nuclear missile in to outer space, he comes round after falling unconscious only to express his desire to try the Arabic cuisine known as shawarma (despite not actually knowing what it is). Following the initial release of the movie, there was a lot of hype surrounding a rumoured additional scene that would be placed after the credits. As it turns out, this additional scene wasn't a 'big reveal' or even a hint as to future occurrences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - it was merely a scene of the battle-worn superhero team eating shawarma in silence in a restaurant that had been damaged by the very battle that they had just fought in. Just sitting. In silence. Eating shawarma.
