The most recent of this article's entries, Movie 43 consists of 11 painfully unfunny movie 'shorts' starring an unimaginable cast, ranging from Kate Winslet to Johnny Knoxville including almost every actor in between! With a low marketing campaign, and filmed over the course of 3 years, Movie 43 may have flown under the raider of many until its release in cinemas this month. I can only imagine the stars of this movie (especially those tipped for Oscar nominations in the near future - ehem, Hugh Jackman!) hope that this is the case as their presence in this shambles of a movie will no doubt put a dampener on each individuals largely illustrious career. Going for edgy and finding immature. That's how one could best describe the result of Movie 43 (I still don't know what is mean by that title) as the jokes fall flat on their face and the audience is left struggling to force even the most polite of laughs when the film so desperately seeks them out. One word: awful.
