10 Mysterious Or Bizarre Movie Titles With Disappointingly Boring Explanations

1. Snakes On A Plane

snakes-on-a-plane Mysterious? I would say no. Bizarre? Slightly. Cool as heck? Definitely! Samuel L. Jackson's master romp doesn't take much explaining. There are snakes, on a plane. However the rain in Spain pours all over this plane as its initial premise is dampened by over the top acting, the same toy snakes I was bought aged five and a poor execution of a great (if a little nonsensical) original idea. The reasoning behind said snakes on said plane feels a little contrived - I'm sure the bad guys could find something a little easier to do to piss up the plans of their enemies and an overly-long build up kills the adrenaline you will have got by simply buying the ticket. Samuel L. Jackson shouts as usual and whilst he looks, sounds... IS the coolest person on the planet, even he can't sustain an idea that gets very dull very quickly. If you want to get the same feel for the film, type into YouTube "I've had enough of these motherf****ng snakes on this motherf****ng plane" and watch the video on repeat half a dozen times.
