4. Adam Warlock

Although we have kind of seen Adam Warlock on screen, it was just his cocoon and it would be silly to exclude him from this list for that reason. Warlock is undoubtedly going to play a key part in both Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Avengers: Infinity War. In the comic books, Warlock was a key figure in the Infinity Gauntlet arc when it came to bringing down Thanos when the Mad Titan was wielding the completed titular item. He probably broke out of his pod in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie when the Collector's museum was destroyed by the Orb and he will join the Guardians of the Galaxy in the sequel, before arriving on Earth with them to assist the Avengers against Thanos. He was created to be the perfect human, possessing superhuman physical statistics and energy manipulation powers. He rebelled against his creators and headed off in to space. Whether or not that will be his origin story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains to be seen, but it will be awesome to see him.
