10 New MCU Characters We Can't Wait To See In 2023

Born as an ordinary human, George Tartleton was forced into a mutagenic experiment, which transformed him into a living computer called MODOC (Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing). After the procedure increases his brain size (as well as his head), Tartleton went mad with power, referring to himself as MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing). Because he's set on taking over the world, this big-bonced scientist has tussled with Iron Man and Captain America on dozens of occasions.

Because he's one of the Avengers' most recurring foes, it's bewildering how MODOK hasn't appeared in the MCU yet, (especially since he was meant to feature in Iron Man, Agents of SHIELD, and Captain America: Winter Soldier).

Fortunately, that's about to change, since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will mark the live-action debut of this classic supervillain. Although details surrounding the criminal with the killer cranium are hush-hush, it's rumoured MODOK will be Darren Cross, who seemingly died in the climax of Ant-Man. Because Cross is regarded as one of the MCU's weakest villains, seeing him reborn as this iconic adversary will be a great way to redeem the character.
