Born 46 years BBY - Before the Battle of Yavin - Mon Mothma was, much like Gial Ackbar, a key Rebel Alliance character who debuted in 1983’s Return of the Jedi. And, again like Ackbar, her presence was fleeting yet her legacy was cemented as she helped to orchestrate the famed Battle of Endor plans to wipe out the second Death Star and take down the Empire once and for all.

Away from her big-screen appearances, Star Wars canon has Mothra as a major political player who is a huge supporter of Leia Organa’s, but Mothra is a human, and we humans don’t age as well as the various alien races that exist within the Star Wars galaxy.

While she did become seriously ill, the general rule of canon is that Mon Mothra is still alive as of the timeline of the latest trilogy of Star Wars pictures. As such, the timeline that we find ourselves in for this year's Episode IX will have Mothra as 84 years of age. That number puts Mon Mothra as the oldest non-Force-sensitive human on this list.
