7. Spider-Man & The Avengers
Everyone wants to jump on the Avengers bandwagon these days, and one of the most-asked questions surrounding the original by casual cinemagoers was - why isn't Spider-Man in the mix? Funnily enough, an attempt was made by Sony to reach out to Marvel Studios during the production of the superhero supergroup movie, and indeed, the Oscorp skyscraper was supposed to appear in the New York skyline, but The Avengers had already entered a far stage of post-production by that point, and so there was no time to add the building in. As Comic-Con this past weekend, Andrew Garfield aka Peter Parker himself said, "Id love to see with the Avengers. Im just sayingitd be pretty cool", and while there's always the risk of throwing too much into the mix, it'd certainly be interesting to see how Spidey would fare with such an eclectic and charismatic mix of characters. Given that he's appeared in numerous comic arcs with the team and the eminent popularity of the character, it would seem like a wasted opportunity not to throw him in there.
