1. The Shawshank Redemption
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hB3S9bIaco Frank Darabont's inspirational classic The Shawshank Redemption tells the tale of Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins), a man wrongly convicted of murdering his wife and her adulterous lover, who decides that he's going to have to help himself if he ever wants freedom. Over decades, Dufresne painstakingly chisels his way home by digging a hole out of his cell, using a poster of Raquel Welch to cover it. Andy tunnels out and gets to live a happy, free life. The End. In New Jersey at the end of 2007, two prisoners named Otis Blunt and Jose Espinosa copied the Shawshank plan down to every fine detail, even using two sexy posters to cover up the holes they had dug. A shocking testament to how far sheer audacity can get you, the two not only used posters to cover the holes, but used piles of blankets under their bed-sheets to give wardens the impression that they were asleep. The New Jersey penal system finally put the embarrassing episode to rest when the pair, who fled separately, were caught a month later within a day of one another.
