10 Performances That Changed Your Mind About Actors You Hate In 2017

1. Robert Pattinson - Good Time

Robert Pattinson is no longer flavour of the month with the Twilight diehards because many of them are convinced he hates the franchise, while most people outside of the vampire circle probably couldn't care less about him.

The star shed his pretty boy image last year when he took on the lead role in Ben and Josh Safdie's hardboiled crime drama Good Time, which was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

Pattinson's performance has been singled out for plaudits, with many hailing it as a career high. His magnetic delivery throughout the film proves he can shine when he's not playing pristine vampires.

Good Time may be unrelenting and bleak, but it offers more substance than the genre's usual fodder, and it will change the way you see Pattinson as a dramatic actor.
