10 Post-Credits Horror Movie Scenes That Changed Everything

6. Constantine

Constantine follows the adventures of the eponymous hero, John and a rare version of Keanu Reeves that we haven't seen before, drinking, smoking and conversing with the dead.

A sufferer of terminal lung cancer and the survivor of a suicide attempt in his youth, John is spiritually and physically damned. His only possible salvation is a deal with God, exorcising demons in return for a stairway to heaven.

Along for the ride is Chas, wannabe exorcist and Shia LaBeouf in an early role before he decided to fight giant robots and keep up with the Jones'. Chas takes one for the team when he and John go up against angelic upstart Gabriel, who invisibly bounces Chas between the floor and the ceiling multiple times, resulting in his death and John's guilty conscience.

In the final battle between Gabriel and Lucifer's son Mammon, John sacrifices himself by slitting his wrists. It's actually part a cunning plan to summon Lucifer to the gathering and it works rather well. The rebellion is crushed, John's soul is redeemed and his cancer is extracted.

In the aftermath, John is now free to live a 'normal' life, he even quits the cigs, leaving his zippo lighter on Chas' grave. However, Shia returns in angel form and drags poor John back into the whole mess again, and all for no reason - Constantine never got a sequel.
