10 Predictions For What The DCEU Will Look Like 10 Years From Now

6. The Justice League Reassembles

Green Lantern was released in 2011, and almost a decade later, we're only just now hearing about plans to bring the franchise back. After Justice League flopped, it's bound to be a long time before we get to see another iteration of that team (which is crazy, especially as this is a franchise which should be every bit as profitable as The Avengers).

By 2020, we're sure that will have changed, and a new version of the Justice League will be back on the big screen. However, something we can quite confidently predict is that it will be unrecognisable, with new heroes and villains, and a look and feel vastly different to both Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon's.

Will it bring together Michael B. Jordan's Superman, Robert Pattinson's Batman, and (presumably) Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman? Perhaps, but we wouldn't be remotely surprised if this ensemble is another standalone project with different cast members that focuses solely on this team instead of struggling to bring characters from half a dozen different franchises together for a big budget crossover.
