9. Things Take A Turn For The Supernatural
Looking at the Phase 4 slate, there are definitely signs that Marvel Studios is planning to introduce a lot of supernatural elements in the MCU over the next few years. Moon Knight will reportedly include an appearance from Werewolf by Night, while it was confirmed at last year's Comic-Con that Mahershala Ali will be taking on the role of the vampire hunting Blade.
That alone points to us getting some very different stories in the MCU moving forward, and we're bound to see new takes on characters like Ghost Rider and Mephisto as well. While we don't expect the MCU as a whole to head down this supernatural route, it makes perfect sense for that to be explored, especially after so much time has been devoted to cosmic threats in the Infinity Saga.
Teams like the Avengers and X-Men are unlikely to come up against supernatural villains, but Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is rumoured to have horror elements, and the magically powered Scarlet Witch losing control certainly points to the emergence of new foes. A decade from now, the MCU is likely to be full of demons, vampires, and monsters, and that's no bad thing!
