10 Radical Ideas To Save The Fantastic Four Franchise

2. Marvel€™s Avengers: Infinity War (feat. Fantastic Four)

Well€ I did ask the question, €˜what better?€™, and it turns out that there might be a better film in Phase Three to feature a guest appearance by the Fantastic Four prior to receiving their own film in Phase Four: the two part Avengers: Infinity War event. As stated, the Fantastic Four are Marvel€™s first ever cosmic superheroes, and Reed Richards€™ technological achievements could easily be the catalyst to allow the Avengers et al to travel to where the scope of the conflict is likely to be taking place. We€™d probably also get to see Hulk vs. Thing for a good five minutes, which is a Marvel set piece that€™s been doing the rounds for decades in the comics. The only reason it might prove problematic is that the Infinity War storyline is already rumoured to include every single Marvel Cinematic Universe hero already introduced on the big screen. Is bringing in four more - even these four - really a sound idea? The answer is two-fold: 1) yes, and 2) are you insane, yes of course it is. Bring. It. On.
