And what film could be better than Captain Marvel, due for release in 2019? Part of the attraction in using Carol Captain Marvel Danvers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time is that her character has significant ties with S.H.I.E.L.D., the Avengers, Captain America and the cosmic storylines being played out in Guardians Of The Galaxy and the whole Thanos/Infinity Gauntlet story arc. Potentially, shes the glue that holds all those disparate elements together. Guest appearances from the Fantastic Four in Captain Marvel could strengthen those ties. After all, the Fantastic Four are Marvels original cosmic crusaders, the first of the companys superheroes to make a habit of leaving earth to fight aliens and protect the whole universe from extinction. What better heroes to be standing by Danvers side?
