5. Let's Use A Ouija Board! - Paranormal Activity

As great as Paranormal Activity is, one of the most frequent criticisms of it has to do with the character of Micah. A lot of fans find him to be both annoying and completely stupid, and he definitely doesn't make the wisest decisions to say the least. The most frustrating moment comes early on after Katie and Micah have already been experiencing some seriously freaky occurrences. They started out pretty small, like a door opening and lights flickering, but they eventually progress into hearing clearly supernatural noises and Katie being possessed for a night. At this point, it seems clear that something otherworldly is going on. So what does Micah do? He breaks out the Ouija board, of course. It's not even like he found it in the basement and made an impulse decision to give it a try. No, he goes out and buys one, and apparently he thought it was a good idea for the entire ride home. Katie is annoyed, but after they both leave the house, the thing instantly catches on fire. Great idea, man! If there's anything Micah should know if he's seen even one horror movie in his entire life, it's that when you're being haunted by a demon, keep the Ouija board far away.
