10 Reasons Why Skyfall Could Be One Of The Greatest Bond Films Ever Made

7. Javier Bardem

Oscar winning Spanish actor Javier Bardem joined the cast of Skyfall with many different rumours as to what kind of role he would be taking on. With the recent trailers it€™s now definitively clear that he€™s going to be playing the blondest villain of the Bond series since Christopher Walken's Max Zorin in View To A Kill. There are a number of reasons to be excited about Bardem€™s role in Skyfall, most notably the fact that he€™s already given us one of cinema€™s most memorable bad guys in the form of the psychopathic hitman Anton Chigurh from the film No Country For Old Men. With his strange haircut, unearthly physicality and slaughter house weaponry, Chigurh ranks as one of the most chilling film antagonists of all time. If Bardem can deliver anything that€™s even half as deliriously sinister as his performance in the Coen Brothers classic, than we€™re definitely going to see Bond face one of his most formidable foes yet. Let€™s just try our best to not be put off by the hair.
