10 Recent Movie Post-Credit Scenes Worth Sticking Around For
3. The Real Ending - Sinners
Once again, Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler collaborated in 2025, and brought to life a fantastic flick based around vampires, but that went so much deeper than the typical undead story. This was one of the biggest hits of the year so far.
If you walked out of the film as the credits began to roll, you didn't just miss a post-credit scene; you missed the true ending of the story. It wasn't just a small stinger tacked on the back end of the movie, but more this was a full five minutes that wrapped things up in a beautiful way.
Decades after the events that took place at Smoke and Stack's (Michael B. Jordan) club, Stack and Hailee Steinfeld's Mary visited an aging Sammie (Buddy Guy), offering to make him immortal. He rejected them, and he played for them, all while reminiscing about what was the best day of their lives. About the freedom that they enjoyed, even in spite of what happened after the sun went down.
This was the real ending of the film, and it is genuinely incredible that it only came up after the credits had begun. Particularly when you consider that there was still a small scene after the credits that showed young Sammie (Miles Caton) singing, the final scene between Stack, Mary, and old Sammie absolutely could have and should have featured before the credits.
