5. Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The Last Jedi
Warner Bros. Pictures

Another DCEU films, and one decidedly not as bad as the former, Batman vs. Superman is an easy film to ridicule. The Martha Moment, wacky Lex Luthor and the most shoe-horned set up to the Justice League through a series of ridiculous laptop documents. BvS received mixed to negative reviews and was the confidence crusher that led to the disastrous Justice League follow-up.

Yet before the reviews and box office numbers, BvS was doomed to lay victim to cultural massacre due to the inconceivably high expectations lay down for the film. Not only being an adaptation to one of the most critically acclaimed graphic novels, but also DC's true test to win over fans after the middling reaction to Man of Steel. BvS didn’t stand a chance against the fan-based onslaught and became another example of popular hatred.

Even four years later there are calls of fervent hatred for this film, when, and let's be honest, it isn't that bad.
