And finally, Netflix's timey-wimey slasher flick Time Cut may have been unfairly deemed a rip-off of Amazon's similarly premised Totally Killer - given that this one was actually shot first but released second - yet that doesn't negate the fact that it's still not very good.

Though the opening sequence establishes that the film is going to mine early 2000s nostalgia, there isn't much in the production design here to suggest a particularly fun or inspired engagement with such a distinctive decade.

It certainly doesn't help that the film's colour grade is so aggressively, blandly washed-out from the very beginning that it fails to capture much of the 2000s' garish vibe.

But the real bust here? The opening murder sequence is an infuriatingly bloodless PG-13 affair, confirming that Time Cut is indeed the most un-asked-for of things - a slasher movie with almost none of the red stuff in it whatsoever.

The message was clear from the start, then - just watch the effortlessly superior Totally Killer instead.
