10 Recent Movies That Wasted INCREDIBLE Casts

John Krasinski's fantasy dramedy IF is nothing if not one of the most star-studded films in recent memory, with Ryan Reynolds leading a live-action cast also including Krasinski himself and Fiona Shaw.

But things get seriously loaded with the voice cast for the titular IFs (imaginary friends), with the ensemble consisting of Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. (RIP), Awkwafina, Emily Blunt, George Clooney, Bradley Cooper, Matt Damon, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Blake Lively, Christopher Meloni, Matthew Rhys, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amy Schumer, and Jon Stewart.

Oh, and in case that's not enough, Brad Pitt is also credited as an invisible IF with no dialogue - as a reference to his fleeting cameo in Deadpool 2 as The Vanisher - because why the hell not?

And yet, most of these performances are relatively anonymous, enough that their presence feels more for marketing purposes than anything else.

Even in an era where flexing about having the "Biggest. Cast. Ever!" has less pull with audiences than ever, it's shocking how little impact this objectively amazing cast makes in Krasinski's tonally uneven, all-over-the-place family adventure.
