10 Recent Movies That Were Forced To Shut Down Production (And Why)

Another injury that temporarily shut down a movie, upcoming MMA drama Bruised - which is being directed by Halle Berry, who also stars - had to postpone its planned shooting schedule when the actress sustained an injury.

According to Deadline, Berry was filming a fight scene at the time of the incident, leading to a "precautionary" production delay which lasted for a handful of days.

From the sounds of it, it seems as though the actress was pretty much fit to continue, but in order to play things safe and ensure that her condition wasn't worsened, the decision was made to press the pause button instead. Better safe than sorry, after all.

And considering that Berry is the lead of the movie both in front of and behind the camera, it was certainly wise to not risk putting her out of commission for a much longer period of time.
