10 Scrapped Movie Sequels That Would Have Been Amazing

5. Searching For Keyser Soze (The Usual Suspects 2)

The name Keyser Soze is still enough to raise the hair on every thirty-something's neck. And the name Kevin Spacey still commands a certain level of respect and admiration. To see those two intertwining once again would be nothing short of a wet dream for those who still re-watch The Usual Suspects out of habit. There were plenty of unanswered questions to flesh out from the original, such as "How did the police manage to capture Kint after that boat heist in the first place?" and "What in the hell does this ghost criminal do now that he's actually been identified?" But more importantly...Is Verbal Kint actually Keyser Soze? Or is that just another trick pulled by the mythical Soze? Of course, part of the fun is the movie ended on such a murky note, but the last moments also feel like they could be the start of another brilliant story involving Spacey's character. And according to Chazz Palminteri, who played detective Kujan, they were "past the talking about it stage" and on their way to producing a sequel. That was back in 2004. So either they're really taking their sweet time getting this one ready (whoever "they" may be, as it certainly isn't Bryan Singer or Kevin Spacey), or Chazz was just hoping to spark a massive fan campaign to get the wheels rolling. Either way, there's little chance we'll ever see this come to light.
