10 Signs You’re A Movie Superhero

5. The American Flag Always Waves Behind You

Do you often find yourself walking around town and no matter where you go a conveniently epic gust of wind is blowing a massive American Flag behind you? If this isn't the case you are probably not a movie superhero. If you are unpatriotic or "gasp" not even from America, this dramatically lowers your chances of being a movie superhero also. As much as casting directors love to hire British or Australian men (Super-Man, Batman, Thor etc. etc.) to play their iconic All American Superheroes, if you find yourself speaking with a British or some kind of indeterminable European accent you are the complete opposite of a superhero- you are almost definitely a supervillian. If you come from either Germany or Russia (and you aren't a totally hot babe) then you have absolutely no chance. Let's face it, if America doesn't love you, if the American Flag doesn't follow you where ever you go, and if you don't like to dress up in only patriotic colors then you are almost certainly not a superhero.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
