9. Jar Jar Binks
Is there any Star Wars fan that doesn't shudder at the mere thought of Jar Jar Binks? The Gungan is probably the most hated Star Wars character of all time, and though actor Ahmed Best was given some form of redemption in The Mandalorian, the same cannot be said for Jar Jar.
Mayfeld did his own Gungan impression in The Mandalorian, and the annoying creature himself appeared across several episodes of The Clone Wars, but thankfully, these were limited.
And yet, as annoying as Jar Jar was, that doesn't stop fans from wondering what happened to him. Not only was he infamous within the Star Wars fandom, he was a vitally important character within the Star Wars universe, as it was he who convinced the Senate to give Palpatine the emergency powers that ultimately created the Empire.
In the Star Wars: Aftermath novel, it is told that Jar Jar was exiled once again for his actions, but there are few other details available. There are plenty who still subscribe to the Darth Jar Jar theory, and until it is disproven beyond any doubt, they always will.
