10 Star Wars Moments Actors Didn't Know Were Coming

4. Katee Sackhoff Didn't Know It Was Luke Skywalker - The Mandalorian

While she could've easily found out about Grogu's return beforehand, there was one character Katee Sackhoff was purposefully not told about.

It's so important for a key character's return to have the desired impact that it is usually kept a complete secret. Darth Maul's Solo scene was kept under wraps, and even Mads Mikkelsen didn't know how much Darth Vader was going to be in Rogue One.

Luke Skywalker showing his face in the season two finale of The Mandalorian was far bigger than either of those two moments, and as Mark Hamill himself said on Twitter, the fact that nothing leaked of his involvement was miraculous.

Something that helped keep the secret was that even those on set didn't know who they were acting with. Katee Sackhoff said that all she saw was an actor with dots on his face. So obviously there would be someone special making an appearance, but the Bo Katan actor wasn't certain who it was until she watched the episode with everyone else.

Imagine being on set and filming an iconic Star Wars moment, with the greatest Star Wars character of all time, and not even knowing it.
