9. Theyre tracking us. - A New Hope
Why, for the love of God and all things good, did they go straight to the rebel base after escaping the Death Star? Seriously, why?!? Leia knew they were being tracked, she knew the empire wanted the location of the rebel base so that they could crush the rebellion once and for all. Why didnt she suggest they, for example, land on a small moon and leave the tracking beacon there? Or stop in deep space and clamber around outside until they found it? Or do anything except knowingly lead the empire to the rebels in the desperate hope that some kind of weakness would turn up in the plans ASAP?
