10 Supernatural Heroes Who Should Follow Doctor Strange To The MCU
7. Daimon Hellstrom
Daimon Hellstrom was initially introduced as the son of Satan himself. His mother was a mortal woman called Victoria Wingate, however, and he was born in the (fictional) town of Greentown, Massachusetts. His father was later retconned into being a demon named Marduk Kurios, who was actually the biblical Lucifer. Daimon's father tried to teach him and his sister dark magic - encouraging them to tap into their heritage to utilise ancient powers - but he wasn't interested and wished to be as human as he possibly could be. He ended up being brought up in a Jesuit-run orphanage and didn't hear from his father or sister for many years. He became a professor of anthropology at St. Louis University and set up an occult investigation agency. He has gone on to work alongside heroes like Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange and Luke Cage, and has been a part of teams including the Defenders, the God Squad and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s paranormal unit - the prior and latter of which would be an ideal way of introducing him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
