10 Supporting Movie Villains Who Were The Real Antagonist

When you think of the Alien series, you think of face huggers, Alien Queens, Xenomorphs curving into the dark places, and dripping slime and acid on you. They're the most obvious baddies since the Big Bad Wolf. Who could be worse than them? Robots, that's who.

One can make the argument that Weyland-Yutani - the evil corporation that sends the main characters into danger - are the real enemies but even when it comes to the organization's horrid plans, the robots have a tendency to make everything much, much worse.

Take Prometheus for example. David, the robot, turns his back on his creator leading to everyone on the planet dying. He eventually takes over another ship and is implied to have infested the thousands of humans on the ship with alien symbiotes. That's worse than anything WY had planned.

And it's not just him. Even in the first Alien film, the true villain isn't the large alien ant thing running around the ship, but Ash, the robot who specifically manipulates circumstances so that the alien can be born and feed.

Throughout the series, robots are shown to be the number one evil, with even the Xenomorphs looking kinda chill in comparison.
