Rotten Tomatoes: 0% The Plot: Fed up with the celebrity culture that has engulfed Los Angeles, a disgruntled madman decides to abduct a group of Reality TV stars. A satirical look at Americas obsession with fame and people who are famous simply for being famous, the Slashers antics begin to make people wonder if he has actually done the right thing. Why It Sucks: So woefully executed that not even the most hardened hater of Reality TV can enjoy it, L.A. Slasher set out to strike a chord with its audience but needs to get its guitar tuned. The concept has not only been done before, but done far better Bobcat Goldthwaites God Bless America jumps to mind as a movie close in subject matter but worlds apart in quality. Bautista opposite fellow drug dealer Danny Trejo is amusing in a B-movie kind of way, though the pair don't exactly push each other to new heights in this one. Curiously, for a film thats entire concept is based on the destructive powers of Reality TV stars, they have Celebrity Wife Swap contestant Andy Dick voicing the Slasher himself.
