10 Terrible Films That Spectre Actors Want You To Forget
8. Robin Hood (2010) - Lea Seydoux
Rotten Tomatoes: 43% The Plot: A Ridley Scott retelling of the classic folktale, Russell Crowe stars as Robin Hood, a lowly bowman in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion who rises through the ranks to become the anti-hero that the penniless people of Nottingham so desperately need, catching the eye of one Lady Marion along the way. Why It Sucks: With the Gladiator dream team of Scott and Crowe back together for this one, hopes were high from the first trailer which made this movie look like Scott at his best, visually striking with the keen eye to period detail he prides himself on. Unfortunately, the only detail missing here is the most important one an engaging story. The film feels like a prequel to the real story of Robin Hood that everyone was expecting to see, a prequel that hopefully never sees a sequel. Seydoux doesn't do much wrong in the role of Isabella of Angouleme, but she doesn't do a whole lot right, either. Her scenes seem to pass her by, although with this being her first foray into English language film, this clearly talented actress is maybe due a break for this one. The film, not so much. Robin Hood is supposed to be fun, and this film really isnt. Who knew that gearing up to steal from the rich and give to the poor would be so dreary?
