10 Terrible Recent Movies With ONE Redeeming Scene

8. Mad Men Cameo - Unfrosted

Unfrosted Jon Hamm
Netflix

Jerry Seinfeld's comedy about the origins of the humble Pop-Tart was a depressingly unfunny attempt to satirise the strange recent trend of "corporate biopics" - that is, drama films revolving around the creation of products, such as Air, Tetris, Blackberry, and Flamin' Hot.

But the single bright spot occurs when Mad Men stars Jon Hamm and John Slattery make brief cameo appearances as a pair of ad executives who pitch Kellogg's with an unexpectedly sexy ad campaign for the Pop-Tart - a campaign which Kellogg's naturally rejects.

While Hamm and Slattery's characters are never identified on screen, presumably for legal reasons, they're very clearly supposed to be the very same iconic ad men they spent years playing - Don Draper and Roger Sterling.

Seeing the pair back together on screen is a damn delight, and as we've all learned by now, Hamm is a comedy natural. In a film with so little on offer otherwise, this single scene struck pure gold.
